On November 29th. there was a Meeting on Disabled People Accountability, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Employment. Confiteca was invited to be a part of this event because of its inclusion of handicapped persons as a good handling example. Our representative, Econ. Ricardo Lara, General Manager, talked about the experience of integrating 26 handicapped persons to different company areas, and how this has contributed not only the company’s benefit, but to their personal benefit.

The General Manager commented on the staff sensitization process with these people when they were hired. Two people were trained for their care, and the personnel was trained about how to act with the new co-workers and how they could assist them when they needed help.

This is a sample that we are not only selling our products consumers, but that our policies and internal actions make all of us very proud.
